Predstavljam vam apartmaje, ki se nahajajo nad Izolo v zaselku Malija; tipičnem istrskem gručastem naselju, kjer se odpira pogled na Tržaški zaliv, na Dolomite, Julijske Alpe, Krajinski park Sečoveljske soline. Zaradi nadmorske višine 210m, bližine morja in odprtosti so klimatski pogoji za bivanje zelo ugodni v vseh letnih časih, saj tudi ob največji pripeki piha rahel veter. Torej, ko si zaželite odklopa od mestnega vrveža, vam podeželje nudi mir, bogato kulinariko, vinske kleti ter aktivno preživljanje počitnic z urejenimi kolesarskimi , jahalnimi in sprehajalnimi potmi med oljčniki in vinogradi. Da, slovenska Istra ni le morje in obala;  je tudi zaledje s tisoč presenečenji. Pravijo, da se iz vsake istrske hiše vidi morje.

Neposredna bližina turističnega Portoroža, starodavnega Pirana, ribiškega mesta Izola (2-5 km), Kopra (10km) z bogato arhitekturo, kulturnimi spomeniki, muzeji, galerijami, kulturnimi in športnimi dogodki, ter zabave (Ambasada Gavioli in drugi) bo vaš izbor za obisk še dopolnila. Srečo pa lahko tudi poskusite v številnih okoliških igralnicah. V vsakem letnem času je tudi kopica tradicionalnih prireditev, kjer lahko pokušate in kupite pridelke okoliških oljkarjev, vinarjev, pridelovalcev kakijev, artičok, soli, nabiralcev tartufov, divjih špargljev, gob, ter vsekakor morskih dobrot piranskega brancina, školjk, …

Privoščite si tudi razvajanje na plažah od Portoroža do Ankarana s številnimi centri dobrega počutja z zdravilnim solinskim blatom.

Bivanje si lahko popestrite tudi z enodnevnimi izleti; vse v razdalji do 100km od Krajinskega parka Dragonja, Hrastovelj z znano cerkvico, Krajinski Park Strunjan z znano romarsko cerkvico,  Socerba, slikovito pot nekdanje železniške proge od Trsta do Poreča – Porečanka, Lipice, Škocjanskih jam (unesco), Postojnske jame, prestolnice države Ljubljane,…

Apartmaji se nahajajo v novejši hiši z mediteranskim pridihom, velikim vrtom,  bivalnimi terasami in lastnim parkirnim prostorom. Čaka vas prijazna dobrodošlica lastnice s katero se lahko pogovarjate v različnih manj in bolj znanih evropskih jezikih, ki vam bo tudi na vašo željo z veseljem pomagala pri odločitvi, kaj manj znanega obiskati, kje pokušati tipično kulinariko, pokušati tipična vina tega okoliša (refošk in malvazija). Nastanitev priporočam motoriziranim obiskovalcem, saj so avtobusne linije le 2x dnevno do Izole.

To meet your needs, I present you my apartments situated in Malija, a typical Istrian nucleated village in the Municipality of Izola, with its stunning view of the Gulf of Trieste, the Dolomites, the Julian Alps, the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park. The climate is moderate throughout the year due to its elevation of 210m and vicinity to the sea (about 2 km), which will make your stay pleasant even in the hottest days when gentle winds breeze the heat away. So, whenever you wish to have a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, the countryside offers peace and quiet, rich cuisine, wine cellars as well as spending rather active holidays cycling, horseback riding or walking along the paths that lead through olive groves and vineyards. Yes, that’s right. The Slovenian part of Istria is not only the sea and the coastline but also the surroundings full of thousands of surprises. It is said that the sea can be seen from each Istrian house.

Its indirect closeness to touristy Portorož, medieval Piran, fishing town of Izola (2-5km away), Koper (10km), each with its rich architecture, cultural monuments, museums, galleries, cultural and sports events, and spectacular entertainment venues (Ambasada Gavioli and many others) will definitely justify your choice. You may also try your luck in a number of nearby casinos. Each season offers many traditional events and festivals, where you may taste and buy local produce of surrounding producers: olive oil, wine, “kaki” (persimmon), artichokes, salt, truffles, wild asparagus, mushrooms, and sea delights, like Piran sea bass, sea shells … And, of course, indulge yourself in lying on the beaches stretching from Portorož to Ankaran, relaxing in a number of wellness centres with the healing fango – mud from the Sečovlje salt pans.

You can also join numerous one-day trips and excursions from the Landscape Park Dragonja, to Hrastovlje – known for the Church of the Holy Trinity, Socerb, Parenzana route – a picturesque hike along the old long narrow-gauge railway line route from Trieste to Poreč (Trieste-Parenzo), Lipica, the Škocjan Caves Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Postojna Cave – the best-known cave in the world, the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana …, all within 100 km distance.

The apartments are located in a new house with a Mediterranean flare, large garden, terraces and private parking space. You are warmly welcomed by a charming owner you can talk with in different more or less known European languages and who will gladly help you with suggestions about where to visit that’s off the beaten path, where the secret places are, where to taste typical cuisine and typical wine (refošk and malvazija).

I advise my guests to have a car or a motorbike since bus connections are not frequent (twice a day to Izola).
